2006 Public Arts Project

Fifty unique and creatively created CHAIRS will be hanging from the banner brackets along Whitewater’s Main Street.; check out a couple on Second Street. as well.  Also look for CHAIRS in store windows along Main Street. 

Look for the BIG CHAIR at East end of Main Street. You also can sit in the “BIG CHAIR” and have your picture taken any time this summer.

Brochures will be available through out the summer at local banks, the Downtown Whitewater Office in the Discover Whitewater Building, the Double Dip Deli and other businesses throughout the community.  The “CHAIRS of Whitewater will be on display through Labor Day.  On Saturday, September 30, from 5-7 pm the “CHAIRS” will be auctioned off at the Cravath Lake Front Center, and the next Public Arts Project for Whitewater will be unveiled and reservations taken.
