Edward S. Curtis Original Works
at the Crossman Gallery - UW-Whitewater

The photographs of Whitewater born artist Edward S. Curtis are coming to the Crossman Gallery from September 12 through October 23.  Curtis produced an immense archive of Native American photographs by creating over 40,000 images over the course of 30 years.  Both President Theodore Roosevelt and financier J. P. Morgan championed his work.  This exhibit is being drawn from a Curtis exhibition that has been traveling internationally and has broken long-standing attendance records at the inaugural exhibition in Paris.
