PHOTO COMPETITION SHOW RULES





Subject Categories:
People
Places
Things

Entry Divisions:

Youth (ages 5 - 12)
Fees: $5 (up to 3 photos)

Teen (ages 13 - 18)
Fees: $10 (up to 3 photos)

Amateur (19 and up)
Fees: $10 for first, $5 for each additional

Accomplished
$15 for first, $10 for each additional


Entry Rules:
Photographs that do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.
*photographs need to be recent (within the past 2 years, or never before shown)
*up to 3 photographs per exhibitor, photo information attached to the front in the lower right hand corner of each entry
*WAA members first photo FREE
*Youth and Teen may matte or frame their photos
*minimum photo size 5"x7" - maximum photo size 16"x20"
*photos must be framed under glass with wire hanger in Adult Amateur and Adult Accomplished Divisions
*DROP off photos on Monday, June 25, between 3-5 pm
Be sure that photo information forms are affixes to photo


PICK UP
*entries can be picked up between 3 & 5 pm July 29, last day of the show unless prior arrangements have been made.


*photos left past the pickup deadline will be considered a donation to the Whitewater Arts Alliance
*artist maintains copyright to their photos, but will allow the Alliance to use their image for promotional purposes.


AWARDS:
BEST of Show Award (150)
Adult divisions: first ($125), second ($75), and third place ($50).
Youth/teen divisions: first ($50), second ($30) and third place ($20)


*Some prizes MAY NOT be awarded in categories having 3 or fewer entries
*The WAA Commission Policy for sales applies during a show - The WAA received 20% of sale from WAA members and 30% from non-members.

Complete the entry form on the back and mail completed form and entry fee before June 17, 2012 to:
