Art by Whitewater Arts Alliance Members Chosen for Poster and Note Cards

The Whitewater Arts Alliance congratulates the WAA members whose works viewers selected as their favorites during the 2011 Whitewater Arts Alliance Members' Show in November and December 2011.




Viewers chose Karolyn Alexander Tscharnack's "Farmstead in Winter" for the poster.

Members of WAA may purchase posters for $30; non-members may purchase posters for $35.



The note cards feature the work of the following artists:


Dolores Engel's "A Gladiolus"




Darlene Jansen's "Giant Swallowtail"




James M. Leaver's "Mr. Piano Man-Noah at 6 1/2"




Tracey Lyon's "Fall in Love."



Packets of four cards with envelopes may be purchased for $5. Each packet contains one copy of each artist's work.

Anyone interested in purchasing the posters and note cards may do so at the Cultural Arts Center.

"As the team installed the show, we frequently commented on the satisfying quality of the pieces submitted to the show. The members of the WAA continue to explore the visual arts using intriguing methods, subjects, and media." said Virginia Epps.

Special appreciation for receiving and installing the show, making photographic images of and from the show, designing the table decor for the receptions, and publicizing the show goes to the following WAA members: Anne Fellows, Bob Grant, Barbara Grant, Dawn Hunter, Linda Long, Dave Saalsaa, and Marjorie Stoneman.
