As we emerge from the depths of our COVID-induced hibernation, the Whitewater Arts Alliance wants to dedicate this year’s Public Art Project to the tremendous dedication and heroism of first responders, front-line personnel, and health care workers. They have worked tirelessly to keep us safe, keep our society functioning, and to heal and support COVID patients and their families.

To demonstrate our gratitude, we will provide large, wooden hearts for artists to paint with their messages and images of thanks and will suspend the hearts from the Whitewater lampposts. We hope you will join us, either as an artist or a sponsor, in the salute to those who have given so much to our community.
