Why are you excited to share this work?
I’m excited to share this work with the community because in times of turmoil and uncertainty, art is comfort, resistance, and resilience. I’ve always found theater art to be my place of renewal and vulnerability and I’m so excited to share this with you all.

Jamie’s Bio:
Jamie Love is a Senior Theatre BA and English BA at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. After graduating, she hopes to pursue a Masters degree in Playwriting or English. She took place in the Whitewater Art’s Alliance’s previous staged reading of Almost, Maine, put on by UWW Theta Alpha Phi. She hopes you will enjoy this performance and that it will make you as audience members feel something

Why are you excited to share this work?
I’m excited to be part of this production because I think this show has a lot of heart, and humor, and most importantly, love. It’s crucial that we listen to all sorts of stories of love, to become more empathetic human beings and be given an example of what love should feel like and what healthy love is. Throughout the rehearsal process, we’ve really had to face some tough questions and self-reflect on what love is to us. I’m also very excited working with Matt and Isa. They are wonderful people and even better artists.
