Our Vision For the Next Chapter

The Whitewater Arts Alliance (WAA) is proud to launch our Heritage 250 Campaign, a community-wide effort to support creativity, connection, and the power of the arts to bring people together. As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, we are inviting 250 individuals, families, and businesses to join us in shaping the next chapter of the Whitewater Arts Alliance in providing long-term funding continuity to stabilize, sustain, and preserve the life and energy of the Arts in our local community.

Why This Matters

The arts help us share stories and strengthen the heartbeat of Whitewater. Your participation ensures that creativity continues to thrive here - not just today, but for decades to come.

Creativity - Embracing Creative Arts Opportunities

Your support expands hands-on workshops in photogra-phy, painting, ceramics, and mixed media; sustains be-loved programs like the Whitewater Storytelling Festival and Savory Sounds Concert Series; and keeps traditional shows and digital salons accessible to all.

Community - Enhancing Public Arts

Contributions help preserve Whitewater's iconic mural; support community-driven art installations; allow for collaborations with Studio 84, the Whitewater Public Library, and the UW-Whitewater Children's Center; and bring to life programs like "Photos with Santa and Friends," as well as projects like the Caryl Yasko-led 2027 Community Mural Project.

Education - Enriching Arts Knowledge and Appreciation

Your gift makes possible curated exhibitions such as the Whitewater Unified School District (WUSD) Art Show, Wisconsin Regional Artist Program, the Fran Achen Juried Photography Exhibit, Annual Paint Wisconsin Exhibit, inter-active and intergenerational learning experiences, and the Diane Flood Public Arts Enrichment Scholarship.

Inclusion - Engaging Intergenerational and Diverse Artistry

Your gift supports partnerships with the WUSD, Studio 84, the Whitewater Public Library, Fairhaven, Mulberry Glen, Roberta's Art Gallery, the UW-Whitewater Children's Center, and helps fund multicultural celebrations including Latino Heritage Month and Native American programs.
