  • Whitewater Arts Alliance 402 West Main Street P.O. Box 311 Whitewater, WI, 53190 United States (map)

The Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP) is managed by Association of Wisconsin Artists (AWA). WRAP is open to all nonprofessional artists in Wisconsin and nearby states. Whitewater Arts Alliance is hosting your local WRAP. This event will be a hybrid gallery exhibit and virtual show. Apply now! Registration starts March 23rd. The registration deadline is May 23rd. The entry fee of $30 covers the exhibition of up to 3 artworks and participation in the workshop on June 27th. You may bring guests to the workshop for a $5 per guest fee.

It’s easy to enter and pay on-line from the AWA website: Association of Wisconsin Artists - Whitewater WRAP (wildapricot.org). You can also register by mailing a paper form and your $30 check made out to Whitewater Arts Alliance sent to 402 West Main Street, P.O. Box 311, Whitewater, WI 53190. Paper forms are printed in Contour Notes, and are available to download at wiscartists.org under WRAP, Exhibits & Workshops.

Artwork drop-off will be on May 30th at the Cultural Arts Center, 402 West Main Street, Whitewater, WI 53190. Make sure each artwork has an identification label securely attached to the back. Labels are printed on the paper application form and are available to download at wiscartists.org under WRAP, Exhibits & Workshops. All paintings, graphics and photographs must be dry, framed, and ready to hang with wire across the back; no toothed brackets. We discourage plastic frames since they may break. Send photographs of your artwork by e-mail to Nicole Holder at wwartsalliance@gmail.com. You may enter up to 3 pieces. For tips on how to photograph your artwork read the document by Jim Marsala posted on wiscartists.org on the WRAP EXHIBITS & WORKSHOPS page. However, if you find these instructions intimidating, be aware that you can take adequate photos of your artwork with your point and shoot camera or cell phone. Just do the best you can, and attach your jpeg files to an e-mail that includes your name and the titles of your artwork.

The annual conference and state exhibit for state award winners at regional WRAPs is currently scheduled to be at the Pyle Center in Madison this September, though the exhibit and conference may be moved online.
