We are pleased to announce the 2022 Hallow’s Gala Exhibition that will be both in-gallery and virtual. The exhibition is open to Halloween and fantasy enthusiasts of all mediums (2D and/or 3D). This might include but is not limited to: community members, Whitewater Arts Alliance (WAA) members, students, etc. However, the work must be artists’ originals. Source material must be original and not derived from any published images or copyright work/commercial patterns.

Key Dates
September 18 - Submission Deadline for Application by 11:59pm
September 25 - Work Drop Off to the Cultural Arts Center, 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
October 28 - Exhibition Closing Reception from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
October 29 - November 27th - Hallow’s Gala Virtual Exhibition on WAA Website
October 30 - Exhibition Closes after 5:00pm
October 30 - Artwork Pick Up at the Cultural Arts Center at 5:00pm
Application Entry Information
Eligibility:
Exhibition open to Halloween and fantasy enthusiasts of all mediums (2D and/or 3D). This might include but is not limited to: community members, Whitewater Arts Alliance (WAA) members, students, etc. Must be artists’ original work. Source material must be original and not derived from any published images or copyright work/commercial patterns.

Participation Details:
Artists may submit up to four pieces for consideration.
Accepted artwork must be on display for the entirety of the exhibition. No early take down, no exceptions.
2D Artwork: Work must be framed or mounted canvas. All pieces must be wired for hanging, and no saw tooth hangers. Maximum piece weight of 100lbs or less. Materials for non-standard installation methods must be provided by the artist of work 25lbs or more.
3D Artwork: Work must come with installation instructions. Pedestals are provided unless otherwise requested by the artist. Materials for non-standard installation methods must be provided by the artist.
Artists can choose to allow WAA to sell artwork on their behalf or choose to designate “not for sale” to simply display. WAA takes a portion of commission sales. Please price accordingly and reference relevant commission rates below:

ARTWORK IMAGE GUIDELINES:
All participants will be judged using digital JPEG images. A maximum of 3 digital images per piece may be submitted. Digital images must be high quality JPEGs, limit size to 1MB. Images exceeding this size limit will not be considered for awards. Submit all images either online, via e-mail, or mail.
File Format: JPEG Only
File Resolution: 72 ppi/dpi (standard web resolution)
File Size: 1 MB (maximum) Files exceeding this size will not be considered.
File Name: Should be read as “Last name _media_ entry title”
