Awards:

The total monetary award pool for the overall exhibition is $3,600. The awards for each salon are listed in the respective section below. The award selection process is also discussed below.

Exhibition-Wide Awards

  • Best of Show Award ($ 750)

  • Caryl Yasko Artistic Vision Award ($ 250)

  • Roberta Avonn Fiskum Student Award ($ 400) (Eligibility Details Below) 

Traditional Salon Awards

All accepted work will be displayed in a traditional gallery exhibit, as well as online. Accepted work in this salon must be physically delivered to the gallery to be exhibited.

  • Artistic Merit Awards

    • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Salon Awards ($500, $350, $250) + Certificates

    • Honorable Mentions: Non-cash certificates for mastery.

  • General Public Voting

    • Viewer’s Choice: Non-cash certificate awarded to the top vote-getting image from in-gallery public voting.

    • Public’s Choice: Non-cash certificate awarded to the top vote-getting image from online public voting.

Digital Salon Awards

All accepted work will be exhibited electronically in-gallery as well as online. Accepted work in this salon does not need to be physically delivered to the gallery.

  • Artistic Merit Awards

  • Must be a currently enrolled UWW student registered for Fall 2026* 

  • To be awarded through UWW WINS by Roberta’s Art Gallery and the Foundation towards the 26-27 academic year 

  • Open to UWW undergraduate and graduate students 

  • Participants must select “student” rate and provide proof of student ID for verification purposes waa.franachen@gmail.com

  • Award recipient will be selected by Paint Wisconsin Jurors and Caryl Yasko for outstanding artistic merit 

  • *UWW Students must select 'student’ rate and submit photo of student ID verification (via email) to be eligible/entered for review of the $400 Roberta Fiskum Student Award*
