2027 Annual Whitewater Storytelling Festival Vendor Signup
Hello, dear vendor!
The Whitewater Storytelling Festival returns for another weekend of magic May 15th from 10-2p! The Whitewater Arts Alliance would like to invite you to vend at this whimsical spring festival. It will be at Flat Iron Park outside the Cultural Arts Center (402 W Main St. Whitewater).
Feedback from 2026's event was super helpful, and we look forward to continuing to grow this into a wonderful regional event!
Some of the changes we're making and the new additions we're adding to 2027's event:
Event Length: The event is now 4hrs to maximize everyone's time and capitalize on the time of the day we tend to have the most attendance.
Kid-Centered: The 2027 event will now solely be for kids, though our vendors are welcome to have products for the parents of those kiddos, too!
Broadening Storytelling Culture: Not only will our committee continue to have a presence at the STEAM Fair and other area events to expose the Festival's information, we hope to expand the reach of the storytelling culture in our area by hosting our own Tellabration or small storytelling gatherings/open mics leading up to the event.
Featured Storyteller: 2027's Festival will feature, for the first time, a regional storyteller who will also run a workshop or two. We're excited about this new collaboration in order to expand our reach and hopefully increase attendance. We're expecting 300-350 people.
Bingo Card: In previous years, we offered various Story Walks for people to walk around and read a story, sometimes having vendors host the various parts of the story to encourage folks to visit the market. Now, we'll have a bingo card that will feature fun things for kids to find with their parents. SO if you sell dinos, we'll have Find a Dino on the card, or if you sell plushies, we'll have Find a Stuffed Bear.
*The vendor fee is $40 for businesses and $20 for non-profits.
*In case of inclement weather, everything will move inside the Whitewater Public Library.
