May 15th and 16th, 9AM to 4PM. A complete and clear guide to outdoor painting. Get to the next level by painting from life. This is a two-day workshop with all of the information needed to become a better painter; the focus is on working directly from a sunlit outdoor scene. This creative class will be relaxed and social, and you will make new friends during the process. Learn the advantages of working in oil over watercolor. Tom is a nationally recognized painter and instructor, who painted in watercolor for 20 years before switching to oil in 2005. Some watercolor students might want to try oil as Tom will explain the differences and help you along.
