Quilt Show

Reception: Sunday, June 25 from 2:30 - 4:00 PM

The Whitewater Arts Alliance (WAA) is featuring an all quilt exhibition now to June 25, showcasing quilters Nancy Dynkowski, Linda Kimball and Rita Oehrke. WAA was inspired to display a different form of art mainly due to the barn square theme of the Public Art Project. Downtown Whitewater is currently covered in said barn square boards that expand the “quilt” theme show this month. There will be a free reception, open to the public, on Sunday, June 25 from 2:30 - 4pm at the CAC which includes a short Q&A session.

The Cultural Arts Center (CAC) gallery—402 West Main Street, second floor—is open Thursdays thru Sundays, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Currently, the show can only be viewed in person at the gallery. General photos of the quilts can be seen below:

Nancy Dynkowski and Linda Kimball section of the gallery space. Nancy has two quilts in the show while Linda has closer to 20 different quilts.

Rita Oehrke’s quilt section of the gallery. Rita has close to 25 different quilts on display.
